About Becca

Newly based in London, James is establishing herself as a diverse songwriter, vocalist and artist. With soulful vocals and lyricism, her most recent collaborative track 'Can't Stop my Shine' with LA based producer, Soulplusmind, has been placed in a new Netflix series, Wellmania, with Celeste Barber out on March 29th. As a topliner, Becca writes with and for artists and has collaborated with exciting new talents on songwriting camps in the UK and Scandinavia through talent development agent Generator in Newcastle and Tileyard’s international writing camps with Roasting House Malmo, GL Music in Copenhagen and Elements Music Finland.

Becca undertakes session work in the studio and for gigs as a vocalist and has recently recorded as a member of the GeO gospel choir for Join Our Revival Records at Abbey Road Studios to recreate classic songs as house tracks; with the latest revival releases such as ‘Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher’ with Kathy Brown and the choir amassing over 2 million streams. Her artist project has been released across the full moons of 2023, harnessing this powerful astrological energy to reflect the healing themes of the music. Her first single of the year, 'Innocent Days' and the opening singles of her EP Trust the Season, 'One' and ‘Beauty’ have received playlisting support from BBC Introducing in the North East and Amazing Radio, alongside blog support from CLOUT, Lefuturewave and Unrecorded to name a few.
